Running influencer Andrew Glaze’s streak is in jeopardy. He is a prolific ultra marathoner- check his instagram. His streak of 100 mile weeks is in jeopardy. He may not make it. Could any of you run 100 mile weeks 256 straight times? This is an amazing feat. He needs to keep it going.

Do you have a link? Why is it in jeopardy? What is happening that has changed his routine?
p.s. No, none of us could or would want to run 100 miles a week for 5 straight years.
The rest of the runners in the world all have things that are either more important to us OR we would get injured OR we could find training plans that would help us reach our running goals more effectively.
That is why he is the only person to our knowledge who has done this.

It actually wouldn’t be that hard. I’ve run a handful of 100 mile weeks while in college or working full time and it isn’t really that hard, but I have to make money and there really isn’t a purpose for a streak of 100 mile weeks.

If Camille is still among us, she probably could. I think she has said that ~100 mpw year has been her typical average year round(?) pretty much forever.

I don’t think he “runs” most of his 100 mile weeks. His ultra’s average 18-20min pace? He says pace doesn’t matter in ultras but then you have people like Tim Tollefson averaging 7min miles for 30+?

I managed to run over 70 miles a week once, in college. Logged it at 72 miles. So no, I'm gonna say I could not run 100 miles a week for 256 straight weeks haha.

This nut job Andre Glaze runs 100 miles a week at 12 min mile pace. Running 100 miles a week at that super slow pace is easy if you have 25 hours to spare each week.
