If you live in a blue state, maybe your state Attorney General.
Look, laws are being broken all over the place here. Congress doesn't seem to have any interest in doing anything. The Senate is busy with confirmations. The House is in recess.
Musk and associates are literally breaking into government offices and stealing data. If employees resist, they are being sent home. This is happening at Treasury, Office of Personnel Management, USAID, many others. None of these people have security clearances to do what they're doing, but I suppose the FBI won't bother to arrest them because why?
Trump wants to bring manufacturing BACK to the United States. So not only is your job safe, but you will probably get a pay raise and a promotion as those jobs return to America.
If you were actually an auto-worker, you'd be happy about this. This is why Trump won Michigan.

You are not believing that "They" are bringing the jobs back to the US. It takes a few years and a lot of money to move production sites and train workers. "They" are waiting that out and maybe fire some workers in the meantime.

This is about border enforcement as much as anything. Yeah, Canada has a little work to do but could resolve this in a month if they had a functioning government. Mexico on the other hand.......

Big Three automaker Stellantis is making a number of moves in the US, in response to the new Trump administration and its focus on building products in America.
You have nothing to worry about. There are plenty of country’s that produce auto parts that are not part of these tariffs. The US can get parts from Europe or Asia… no big deal.
On the flip side, NOBODY buys stuff from Mexico or Canada except for the US. Exports to the US are literally 25% of Mexico’s GDP so even a 10% drop will cause a major recession for them. The stuff they buy from the US is stuff they need and can’t get from anywhere else (hint: we have the highest wages, so we aren’t competing on price).
The choices that Mexico and Canada have are
1. Reduce exports to the US the accompanying recession.
2. Devalue their currencies so that their products are priced competitively even after the tariffs (i.e. they are effectively paying the tariffs like Trump says they will).
3. Give Trump the concessions he wants on immigration and drug trafficking.

My money is on option 3.
you have no idea what you’re talking about. U.S. depends on Mexico for most of its fresh produce. So Tarrifs will increase food prices FOR YOU the U.S. consumer. On top of that, the produce the U.S. produces is heavily picked by the immigrants Trump wants to deport. So less U.S. production raises even prices more for US consumers on top of what the tariffs will do. That’s just one industry. Cars, electronics, textiles, oil and oil products are other things imported. U.S. imports from Mexico more than any other country. Yes, you will feel the tariffs. Trump will concede and come to the negotiating table once Americans start to suffer and republicans feel the heat with mid term elections on the horizon. Americans don’t like to suffer very much.

I agree!
I don't want my prices on kale, soy, tofu, and designer coffee to increase!
What do I care if the migrants aren't paid a fair wage? Sure, they have to live 12 people in a rented house, but what is that to me?
Please, just give me my cheap food so I can have money to buy the latest I-phone and vacation at Disney World. Without cheap food prices how am I supposed to keep buying and doing these things?
And what about my monthly subscriptions to Netflix, NFL, and NBA? How am I supposed to afford those now??? And those designer jeans that come with the holes in them already made...they will go from a reasonably priced $300 to something like $500.

ROTFL…
Who is Mexico going to sell their fresh produce to? In case you didn’t know food spoils and it’s not like there is another country nearby that can afford to import produce.
In case you didn’t realize, the Mexican farmer spends pesos to grow his crops. As long as gets more pesos when he sell those crops then he spent on producing them he can stay in business. When the dollar gets stronger against the peso (which it will as a result of the tariff) the Mexican farmer can get enough pesos out of the transaction to keep his farm running and Americans will get the food for the same price as before.
