MJ said in an interview shortly after the new year that he would have an announcement about the media/broadcast deal for GST’s inaugural season in January:
It’s now February, so we’re past that deadline, and still no announcement. Anyone have any updates on the status of the negotiations? Should we expect an announcement soon?
(I hope this thread doesn’t turn into a “dump on GST” catch-all, like some people like to turn every thread that mentions GST into. I’m curious if there are any updates—you reading this, Merber?—or if anyone has any ideas what the hold-up is and what a deal might ultimately look like. I’m rooting for this league to work.)
