Seriously though I floated the idea of him running 3:48 but I lost hope when Milt said they took a break after his 7:30 (and even before that it felt kinda crazy). He ran faster than Kessler did last year with his 3:48, and we know what Kessler went on to do.

There was more. He wasted bits of energy throughout the race as Sahlman refused to let him by multiple times. Definitely a little antsy and smart racing (if annoying) from Sahlman and the runner behind who tried to block the inside. It’s BU but still…
