Grant is definitely fit. I wouldn't say this indicates better fitness than we've seen from him in the past, but certainly not worse. That 12:51 from Woody is well in play.
"Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Bat" is a verse recited by the Mad Hatter in chapter seven of Lewis Carroll's 1865 novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It is a parody of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". Text Context The Hatter is...
On the first day of a new academic year, a freshman approaches a senior and asks ' hey, excuse me, do you know where the freshman dorms are at?' To which the senior responds, ' at Princeton, we don't and a sentence with a preposition'. The freshman tries again: 'excuse me, do you know where the freshman dorms are at, a**hole?'
Grant Fisher rare workout, as in he rarely runs workouts?
One can be obstuse, which is common here.
1 - rare that this workout was run a year ago. 2 - rare that Mike is allowing it to be recorded. Go back all the way to Grants workouts in High School. Other than a random FT workout at Stanford, a random here or there BTC workout, there’s not a lot of GF workouts.

maybe it's the headline that is obtuseWhat if I wrote "Flotrack's rare head
Stop. I had an eyesore with the most mal rhythmic running technique to ever execute such a high level workout. The Josh Kerr one by track all access was a world of a difference. Comparing the 2 one is a smooth operator and born to run cleanly while the other is forced to do the sport on PEDs. Scannell shouting and screaming like a crazy maniac at the end completes one of the most insufferable workouts in distance history.

Just to clear this up. You should not feel bad about ending a sentence with a preposition if the rest of the sentence is implied. For example:
Grant said, "I really like where I am at [in my training]." The part in the brackets was implied. That sentence is perfectly fine because we all know what was left unsaid.
The faux-freshman at Yale's sentence is wrong because the "at" is just completely unnecessary. "Do you know where the dorms are at?" is indeed wrong. The "at" is just totally unneeded. Why not just say, "Excuse me, do you know where the freshman dorms are?"
p.s. We also no longer have a functional dative case in English, so we are also allowed to say, "Who were you talking to?" since "To whom were you talking?" is too pretentious. NOBODY talks like that anymore, so we've had to adjust our norms around that sentence structure. Luckily, language is not set in stone.
Stop. You never notice he is always saying far too often that he like where he is at? While wightman and other clean athletes are in want of saying that they like where they are at? This os 2024 not 1994. Athletes today in modern era should be far more fickle in physical conditioning than Morceli and El G. The duration of combustion of their peaks are shorter and less broad. Grant just had a down year in 2023 and then an up in 2024. He is slated for a down in 2025. Watch and see.

I don't understand your first point? Why do you say this was "run a year ago"? Did it say something in the video? I didn't watch the whole thing, so I could be wrong, but was only posted 4 hours ago (on 1/28), right?
Also, for people who don't have time to watch the whole video, here is the workout
2000m (hard effort) in 5:08
4x800m (mild effort) in 2:06, 2:09, 2:08, 2:08
1600m (hard effort) in 4:00
p.s. He had "full recovery" of 5-8 minute rest between sets

That is interesting. I do agree with you that the fact that Grant is "always in shape" is on one hand awesome but, as you pointed out, also exhausting. Being in 7:25 3000m shape and then 12:50 5000m shape and 26:40 10km shape all the time can't be easy on the body. But he seems to pull it off, so what do I know.
Where you and I disagree is in how we think he does this. I don't think he is doping.
But yes, it seems as if he doesn't really have a true "peak" but rather just maintains his (awesome) fitness all year round. Maybe he takes a big break in the Fall?
