Millrose 3k - Karissa and Katelyn. Will be great to see these two back racing. Morgan is in it too.
And Hilda Olemomoi/FL.
After her 14:52/5k last month @ BU, excellent opportunity her to break Tuohy's current 8:35/3k CR.
But will Tuohy's 8:35/3k still be the CR come Millrose? There's a BU meet the week before with another BU meet the weekend of. Alabama is not entered in either, but Doris Lemngole might not need the BU track to start collecting more records.

Is there a competitor or start list available for the BU meet?

For the Jan 31 meet entries do not close until Jan 26 and accepted entries posted Jan 27

Tsigie is in it too. She ran a 8:24 last summer. A battle between her and Schweizer
But interesting to know that they’re both in it. There are others in it as well because their agent is in charge of the meet and will be struggling not to get last. Like last year in the mile

I found the quotes from Josette on this race, well, interesting
is that supposed to be a bad thing? I think most people agree that the 8:35 is the best mark she's ever had. If she's 8:44 or better that still would be the best form she's shown since the sound running 5k in spring '23.
Super excited to see what Tuohy can do, her 15:0x last year pointed to her getting back into shape. I think a lot of people have forgotten just how good she was at her peak in college, with her 3k record being worth ~14:45. I think at their peaks, she and Valby were just as good as each other at 5k (with Tuohy better at 1500 and Valby better at 10k), and it's a shame we didn't get to see them compete with each other in peak form.
If she's been healthy since her last race, I think she'll have a great race (maybe even a pb), and she'll have a good shot at the 5k team this year. Talent doesn't go away, and she's one of the most talented we've ever had. The end of indoors will mark 2 years since her peak, so if she's not at least close to that, I'll start getting worried about her, but since she was clearly rounding into good shape last time we saw her, I'm not worried yet. It must be a good sign that she and her coach feel confident enough to put her into Millrose.
We really have no idea what KT can do at 10,000. Her only ncaa race was an easy ACC win that got her team 10pts and gave KT an ncaa qualifier, that she chose not to use.
Barring injury concerns, she is interested in 10,000, half marathon, marathon etc., as she believes she is a distance runner. (who also happens to run a pretty decent mile).

It doesn’t matter. Haters are mental midgets that can only feel good about themselves by hating. They’re losers and have nothing else going for them except being haters.

Tuohy gave NCAA fans more than enough thrills. 2024-25 Valby vs 2024-25 Lemngole is the matchup we regret missing.
