I should get out for a few miles. I'm nursing a really bad toe right now. Which is sort of ironic. I hurt it XC skiing last weekend. It's only the second time this year I've had to take a few days off from running due to injury. The first time was a cycling crash, that could have been REALLY bad. Fortunately it was just bruising and stitches and no broken bones.
I'll still hit 4300+ running miles for the year. But I guess the lesson here is if you take up other sports to cross train for injury prevention purposes, don't. You'll just get hurt. So run more.
Of course I'm kidding about that...sort of.
