BTW, although you wont have been taught this in critical race theory classes, back in Shakespeare's day the biggest slave trade was conducted by North Africans against Europeans. For anyone living on the coast of England or Ireland, chiefly women and young girls (although boys have always been very popular with the Turks and Arabs too), being abucted by men who looked like Katir and sold into sex slavery to the Ottoman Empire for the rest of your life would have been a very real and present danger.

Katir is NOT innocent. I am glad he is busted. He was a cheat.

But the reason we all assumed he was a cheat was because he "looked super sketchy." That was the racist part. There are tons of runners who "look" like Katir but are clean. They look just a sketchy as he does.

This means that YES your right they would have a historically rooted bias against people that look like Katir because of things like the Barbary slave trade.
