can't say I'm surprised, but for NAZ Elite this is a huge loss. when healthy she was their best overall runner. She never seemed crazy about running steeplechase, I wonder if that friction came to a head, especially after she got injured before Olympic Trials.
I wonder where she heads next. she has one of the best kicks around and big upside.
She missed the Olympics and there was no softer event for her to try. But hopefully she has time to add in some fresh new tattoos before next season.
she got injured in training right before the trials, she reinjured herself in preliminaries and almost scratched in the finals but decided to give it a go.

She injured herself. Unless she was hit by a car or lightning.
Sad to see Naz Elite in shambles but not surprised at all. It's par for the course. Watch - she'll never join ANY group with a former teammate - they know better.
I fear for any group that takes her on... she will thrive, and they will fail.
From what little I can tell based on her public persona, she doesn't seem like she's all that into professional running and values a balanced lifestyle--I wouldn't be shocked if she leaves running altogether.
It would definitely be a bummer since she seemed like a lovely person and great ambassador for the sport, but hope she finds motivation in whatever's next!

Imagine being so dead inside that you post something like this. Admit that you are in rough shape spiritually and try to find some meaning in your life. Maybe take a break from being online.

Nah, Wildschutt is easily their best runner by a mile.
Hope she can find something that works for her - it was only just last year when she was US champ. The women's steeple got insanely deep this past year so teams will be even harder to make now, but if she can find a good system for herself I'd love to see her trying to make more teams. Coburn and Frerichs being washed helps too, but Constein, Howard, Wayment and Jennings will make it very hard.
