We are always told to "trust the process" in training and not simply hop along to the next trendy methodology after a few weeks because you are not running immediately faster. Obviously this makes sense because it can take serious time before training really takes effect. But my question is: how long do you continue this mantra of "trust the process" before you start to change things? Is it a full season? Also curious what metrics people use to decide if something truly isn't working for them.
