The Universe Doesn’t Care About You

God cares about you, and He created the universe.

The universe came in my dream last night and told me it cares about me and that if I lead a good life on earth, it will house me in the better corners of the universe thereafter until the end of spacetime.

Jesus loves you!

It's actually a very liberating thought.

"universe" is about as meaningful a word as "god"

when you don't know things, don't make things up to fool yourself with. That's wisdom

That is if you believe that the universe exists outside of your perception of it, and there isn’t a whole lot of good evidence for that.

There is a universe, I am not disputing that. I am writing this LetsRun post in an existing universe, hard to get around that I do suppose. But does any universe exist outside of your ability to perceive it? Is a universe something that originated in your mind, or did it exist outside of your mind first?

An untestable query I’m afraid, an absolutely snarled tangle of a concept my good fellow. Like most philosophical musings, frivolous to its core. But I do happen to be a glutton for frivolity.
