I feel like the general consensus around big daddy Ev has been largely positive lately?
Sure he is a bit of a goofball and there are rumors he's a bit of a bad drunk, but he's been running extremely well and seems to be on a trajectory to qualify for trials/US championships on a regular basis.

I wouldn't take it too personally. He's a decent runner (likely would've been top 25 at D1 nationals while pushing 30), but the buck kind of stops there. He can only really complain and whine behind a screen because he's 100 pounds soaking wet and I doubt any decent employer would give him a job given his history. That includes pro running groups. Just let the college kid (middle aged adult) yap on Instagram or what not. This is one of the few times where the average poster might actually be doing better in life than the person they're up in arms about.
Congratulations to our former neighborhood threat for winning the national small Christian junior college cross country title. I see that it hasn’t changed your personality at all! You’re still the same angry, insecure, and mouthy little dweeb that staggered the streets of The Bluff looking for low resistance prey. Has your former bestie, Cooper, reached out? Probably not.
Our streets are safer. Thanks for moving away! Stay out of trouble while enjoying your reputation in the greater running community. No matter what, you will always live in C.J. Albertson’s shadow as only the second best runner from Fresno.
Are they wrong though? Setting aside running, a big part of the value of this forum is to get a more concrete sense of the loonies out there and how they think. If not for the many posts here, I would’ve been harder pressed to believe that such people actually exist.

Do we really think he would have placed top 25 at D1 nationals?
