I’m not talking about the guy who beat you in the Turkey Trot because “he’s on steroids.” I’m talking real dirty.

Damn, that looks like it really hurt.
That is awful dirty. Not the dirty I meant, but I will count that.

That guy who veered across at the end of a Turkey Trot to impede another runner outsprinting him, causing both to fall heavily, especially the other guy who crashed into the barriers. I remember the culprit even got up and stopped his watch when crossing the line without even checking on the guy he tripped.
Gabby Thomas. Dirty.

You’re right that is the lowest of the low. A Turkey Trot for goodness sake.
I've seen egregious course cutting, fighting mid race in xc, fighting after the race in xc and track, purposely cutting off/blocking, lapped runner trying to suddenly blend into the lead pack and finish with them, PED users. I just try to steal these guys' girls after for retaliation, if necessary.

But the worst thing you've done in your life has been kept secret, I assume? I'm sure if it was on video many idiots would be incited to say the same about you.
We need to do better as a society. The kid has already been dealt a difficult hand in life to get to that place. That is fatherless behavior. Hopefully he learned from his mistake and has become a better person.

High school cross country meet in the 1980s where the course had a narrow trail above a steep drop off into rough terrain was the site of a brutal dirty shove. One dual meet race day, the cross town rivals varsity squad had only six runners finish the course. When the dust settled and the fallen runner was retrieved, it was discovered that the victimized runner was pushed over the edge of the trail during the race. He suffered a broken arm and the end of his season. The home school's administration suspended the "dirty" runner and retired that course.

Probably done by an acquaintance of mine (nobody claimed responsibility) but whoever latched the outside of the door to the port-a-pot I was in during the Rocklin (CA) 50, circa 1974.
Course cutter Kevin Goodman stealing my thunder at the Towpath Marathon one year.
Personally? I was running an XC race and the guy next to me kept cutting inside the cones on every corner. I would have to chase back to catch him and it was hard.
At one point I told him "dude, there is no reason to cheat, we are in like 17th place." (And I know it wasn't about the team score because we were in no-man's-land and he wasn't picking up spots.)
He punched me right in the back of the neck when I passed him near the end of the race.
There have been cases of baton-throwing in relay races. Don't have any video links handy but they are always fun to watch.
