great run
great run
That was Eminem
Dylan Schubert. He’s from Colorado. Was pretty competitive with Parker Wolfe in the Colorado meets. Has had some decent races in college, in fact has beaten Wolfe a few times, but today was a big breakthrough!
Schubert's been a very good runner in the college ranks for a while now, the type of guy you might expect to be contending for the 10th-20th place spots usually, but today he stepped it up to another level.
He got 11th two years ago.
He always shows up at NCAA XC
Attrition from a few late falls opened things up. Schubert prepared well and was fit enough to take advantage after passing through the carnage unscathed.

Drako Malfoy?
My hopes are simple.
Robert, Please set this man up with a FULLY SPOSORED TEAM. I felt bad for both Aaron Templeton and Frank Lara who both lost there ability to make a living and improve to the levels they were capable of by joining Roots and Tinman. Athletes don’t know the difference. It is the responsibility of coaches to explain who has the ability to provide a contract and who is just a group of guys.
A random american runner kicks with a 26;53 guy at xc nats and the only thing this message board can produce is featured above. While this board will endlessly speculate about far less accomplished runners.

Only got 40th a pre nationals but stepped up. Outkicked blanks at d1 east 5k regionals last year, fell off at nationals. What kind of kick does he have.
has 418 909 hs prs listed but those could be at altitude. Was nxn all american seems to have a knack for xc.
Hope he runs bc indoor, and gets in fast 10k outside. Should try his hand at world xc, should make the us team. Maybe test out the half marathon after graduation.
Faster 10km PB in XC than on track. Who needs flat, bouncy surface…
Run of the day for sure. The depth of the field underscores what huge potential people like Schubert, Martin, etc have. As you say multiple guys in this race came in with world XC, olympic, world champs etc experience. To step up and get 3rd just outsprinted for 2nd, run 28:3x, going through in what appears to be way faster than his prior 8k XC best....what a run. Sky's the limit
