The cool thing about BYU is that they don't even try to bring in 1 international athlete to boost their team. I don't know of anyone who they even brought in as transfers.

Everyone is recruited out of high school, mostly from UTAH, and then developed over time.

When the women had a bad year last year, they didn't panic and try to bring in transfers and internationals to get back to the top. They simply just put in WORK to improve.

The Providence women's team has NO Americans on the team. The bulk of the team comes from Ireland, England, and a lone Kiwi and Northern Ireland.

So it resembles the average NCAA women's tennis team roster?

That’s because BYU knows trying to recruit international students would be a waste of time. There aren’t many elite Mormon runners outside of the US.
