Btw, Daguinos is built like a Kenyan, 5.11/130 (1:80/60kg). Skin and bones, with small defined muscles, and a mini six pack for good measure. Typical at this level, but Gressier looks a lot more chunky. This kid's an extreme ectomorph.

Why would you be convinced? He and second place had massive improvements within this race. 3rd is a big Kenyan junior prospect. I do think it looks like the pacing went through at least 5,000, which is not always the case in a fast 10K and a big help.
I have no reason to particularly doubt either of the top 2, outside of 2nd being an older Kenyan. That being said, suspiciously huge improvements and they’re unlikely to have ever been tested in the past. Certainly I hope they are clean and give them the benefit of the doubt.

It's going to come out about training at some point, otherwise rumour mills may activate. That's typical in France because French people are naturally jealous and envious. It's cultural.
Everything on Strava. Think I remember seeing him an interview a few months ago saying he’s never ran more than 120km a week but thats changed now. Still relatively low mileage super talent

I am glad to see an actual European beating the African on our home soil. By the way, Etienne was also the first euro guy in Valencia two weeks ago.
Daguinos recently did seven times 2,000 meters on the track in 2:51 with two minutes rest in between with Bastien Augusto, another young (24) French monster with Portuguese origins.

I saw that on his profile so I think at aged 17. It's very good for sure but not staggering in terms of the very best Euro guys that age. Obvs I know zero about the training base that underpinned this.
