Who can beat this?
at 27 resting heart rate was 32 as sub 30min 10k runner
at 40 swimming training with my son it was 33
at 57 it now is in the low 50's
genetics plays a big part.
"Beat it"? Is this a contest? I'm 58 and my resting fluctuates between 41 and 47.
I’m jealous of both of you
46, 37 years old.
46 years old, RHR 38bpm. Would love to say it's because of my elite fitness but sadly it's just genetic bradycardia 🤦♂️
Avg resting heart rate is 38. I run 45-50mpw, and usually have several times at 1500-10k that rank top 5 in the US.

Lots of people. Such as me--age 60, resting heart rate of 38-40, same as it's been since high school.
Do we mean heartrate when sleeping? If so mine averages about 45-50, lowest I can see on suunto app is 40.

My average HR is 10 inches, beat that!
I am 72 going on 73 in January. My resting heart rate typically runs between 46-47 but has occasionally dipped to 43-44 which is probably not unusual for a lifetime runner. However I am puzzled that it has remained steady even though I have cut back to only 12-15 mpw this past year. The plan is to begin an increase in mileage to 25-30 mpw after the 1st of the year when I move to a rural area.
Idiots. Having an abnormally low heart rate isn’t necessarily a good thing.
Pogacars is like 45. I thought my 39 was amazing until I realized it doesn't matter beyond a point.
42 years old and mine is between 42 and 52. Lower end of that range means I’m tired. Honestly this means nothing.
At 31 I was running 10 mpw. Tue-Fri 2 mile progressive tempo plus strides. Sun 8 x 200m hard. RHR usually 37, except Min I'd be tired and it was usually 38.
As an endurance athlete, a 45bpm resting heart rate is of course nothing to be too alarmed about, but still, I would recommend seeing your physician and explaining your lifestyle just so the physician can determine if you are not at risk for Bradycardia. Below 60bpm the average individual may feel lightheaded, dizzy, confused, or tired. Serious complications like a stroke resulting from not enough blood flow to the brain can occur. Just talk to your doctor to be safe. Sub 50bpm is low for someone younger than 40.

You mean resting?
54 years old here at 38-40, depending on the time of day I take it.
I am in my 50's and my resting heart rate is in the low 40's, some days in the 30's.

My dad's HR hit zero this year.
