I see so many threads about how if a kid isn't good enough to go D1 then they should go D3. Why is D2 never brought up? D2 is way faster and more competitive than D3, there is atheltic scholarship opportunities, and also the schools are generally way more affordable. I know the whole academic argument, but honestly with how everything has trended in education to a graduate degree being pretty much a requirement then going to a good D2 for undergrad seems like a better deal. And with the education argument, I know plenty of people who have their undergrad from a D2 school where they ran, and then went to physical therapy school, med school, or law school because what mattered was they showed they had good grades and passed the test to get into those post grad programs.
