We need to have the mods on board for this to work.
I can understand if a tossup state like Michigan gets called, there could certainly be a separate thread discussing the implications of the result. But if a state like Mississippi goes for Trump or Oregon goes for Harris, then the talk should definitely be confined to this thread.
Mods need to make a judgement call whether election news is truly "separate thread worthy" or not, and if not, delete the thread. They can repost in this thread if they want to.
This is just the kind of thread I asked for ... if it works remains to be seen.

Working class people only see that in rent and groceries. They don't own stocks.
Adjusted for inflation Trump's number is better than Biden's.

ALL 6 voted in the GOP primary and all 6 cast votes for Nikki Haley
If Harris is getting votes from Republican Nikki Haley voters, this thing is a complete blowout for Harris. In a place with zero registered democrats and you end up with half the votes bodes well for the team in blue. Trump was stupid for excluding Haley and he will pay the price for it.
