Half marathon seems to be a good distance for him. This isn’t the first time he’s thrown down. Might be a good marathoner for the country if he decides to ditch triathlon
He needs to quit triathlon. He finishes so far back in every triathlon yet is on the heels of the greats in the half marathon. He also has extremely fast food speed.

He won WTCS Yokohama and the America's Championship this year. He has 2 Olympic silver medals in triathlon relay. His swim is not up to the level of the very best, but with LA 2028 coming up surely he'll give it one last go. He probably wouldn't make the Olympics in running. I do think he could make more money road running than triathlon, though.

WTF is a triathalon relay? Sounds lame
Morgan’s dad *was a billionaire. I don’t think money matters here, which makes me question his character in choosing the triathlon over running

Why does him choosing the triathlon make you question his character and what does it have to do with his father being rich? He has every right to compete in the sport he prefers.

Sounds like he got burned by Lukas Verzbicas choosing the tri over running 15 years ago and never recovered

Yes, Verbicas choosing the triathlon was a bad derision, but it never occurred to me to question his character.
It was a freak bike accident that ended his career, and not his decision to become a triathlete.

Let’s pump the breaks. 2+ minutes back of the leaders is not “on the heels of greats.”

His upside is to make an Olympic marathon team. Based on his track PRs, it seems very possible.
