I vote for what's best for myself first and foremost. Trump is objectively better for me.
And it’s your right to do so and to believe that.
I believe that what is objectively better for me in this election is also better for the vast majority of people in the US and in the world short-term, medium-term, and long-term.
Not sure what I’d do if I thought there was a conflict between the two. I suppose it depends on the disparity.

Not really. That’s the rare exception, not the norm. Most voters care about themselves way more than anything else. Some impressionable or gullible minds might get fooled into thinking something affects them and enormously or even that they must fight for others, but those are the stupids.
I care because when I get my nanny pregnant, she better get an abortion. Plus, I can use the availability of abortion as a valid excuse for walking out on a woman and her fetus if she refuses an abortion.

I go to school in a state where abortion is basically completely banned. If worst came to worst, there's always plan B, or a short drive (<5 miles) to the border of a state where it's legal.
