The saddest part is as a fan of this sport for my entire life, I can't be at all excited about it. Do I know it's tainted? Of course not. But do I have any confidence that it's legitimate? Absolutely not. So in what should be an incredible day for athletics, and even human achievement, it gets a complete shrug from me. This sport is not in a good place.

As the handle suggests, oh please. How much more of a clue do we need? Pogacar in road cycling just had maybe the most dominant cycling season ever, we have a man running 717 for 3000, we have a female running a sub 2:10 marathon.
We have something new in the world of endurance sports.
