He announced he was starting his pro group last January. Any news or updates on who the sponsor is, who's on the team, where are they based, assistant coaches, etc?
Contracts usually end in December after an Olympic year. You can’t officially announce anything until then. So if it bothers you that much you have a little bit of a wait
Why would you say it bothers me? I was asking if there was any news.
I'm confused on the statement that you can't officially announce anything until then. Are contracts somehow synchronized to end in December and is there something about contracts that are unusual in an Olympic year? Seems like there have been quite a few announcements of people leaving groups, joining groups and signing contracts since January of last year.
It is very hard to start a pro group. You need really good athletes and most of the fast ones are locked up.
He might get a group with a shoe deal but success will ultimately come down to if he can get some 13:00 guys or sub 14:40 women (or other event fast times).
People doo doo the Boss group but truth is they don’t have the same level of pro as the other more powerful groups.
Bowerman rolled for a decade but they got to sign the NCAA champs for like 8 years in a row

Bullshat. Contracts can be given at any time of the year.

If get signs Wolfe from UNC he’s in business
Is there a connection of some kind to Wolfe? Do you know if he is someone that is heading to a Brosnan group? Who else?
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I can't think of any professional runner who would put their career in the hands of someone who's never coached anything but high schoolers.
When Brosnan was at UCLA and had men going from 4:02 to 3:54 in the mile and athletes going to NCAA championships that no one thought could ever be All-American. He also has HS kids running top NCAA times.
Grant Fishers HS coach is killing it with Grant. When you can coach you can coach and Brosnan is one of the best we've seen.

Sean enough already! Please stop. You're like Rex Ryan yapping on espn for a coach gig but you're actually more like Jeff Saturday who won't coach again. Please go to dyestat chat boards for attention.
But he had a bunch of violations that got him fired even if they weren't NCAA violations. He had to be one of the worst coaches in history. Thousands of buffoons keep their jobs.

How is that remotely true!?! You either have a violation or you don’t. Coaches don’t get renewed for millions of reasons.
One of the best coaches we’ve seen in years and results prove that.
You can violate the law. You can violate an employment contract. You can violate verbal expectations set by your boss. You can violate written performance standards. You can violate rules on use of employer provided resources. You can violate coach-athlete confidentiality. You can violate privacy rights of athletes. You can violate NCAA rules. He got fired for violating other than NCAA rules just as I said. UCLA canned him for being a smug idiot.

Oh, it bothers you. Ol Brozzie lives rent free in your brain.

#1, he is still being investigated because he chose to fight the allegations, even when UCLA agreed and moved on. We will find out at the conclusion of the further investigation and process whether he will have personal violations or not.
# 2, his results on the college level were nothing you can draw any meaningful conclusion. There were some positives, some negatives, but overall he didn't move the needle significantly.
