We’re supposed to run this year?
20.8, 45.7, 1:46
23:37
3:07 for the 800meters yay
My longest effort this year:
Started with a step down from the curb.
A 7 foot walking warm up.
A 13 foot jog to the other side of the road when I saw the oncoming car wasn't slowing down.
Pretended to tie my shoe lace until I got my breath back as a cool down.
Followed by a rest day.

Matt Boling?
7am. 8am. 5pm. 5:30pm. I was pretty consistent about not starting runs on any other times.
48.1
1:48.6
10km: 41:45
5km: 19:44
I ran at 9:00 am last Sunday…
10:32 in the mile
17:55 (PR is 16:35). Aiming for a 35:32 10k PR by the end of the year.
It took me 60 seconds with your mom and 2 minutes with your wife.

Mile-5:44(PR-4:35 at 17)
5k-20:12(PR 16:20 at 18)
10k-46:18(PR 35:48 at 18)
I’ve been pretty consistent doing 5-10 miles per week this year with a couple breaks
my times are all very bad but they are vast improvements over how far I fell in the years following high school. I haven’t run sub 23 since 2021, I haven’t run sub 48 since 2020, and at the end of 2023 the best mile I could run was a 6:56.
Drink less alcohol, smoke less weed, get a better job, and get out on the roads more than once every two weeks, you’ll feel a lot better.
Okay I’ll bite:
29:05 8k xc on an alumni team in a college race on a somewhat slow course.
1:21 half marathon
In my late 30s and significantly slower than I used to be. This summer/fall was the first time in a long while that I’ve trained for a race after several years of casually jogging a few miles everyday after work.
I have a standing goal to break 20 minutes for a 5k, each calendar year for as long as possible. Haven't done it yet this year.
I've ramped up the workouts and will try in the next few weeks.
have run 32 seconds for a 200. 1:14 for a 400. 2:52 for an 800 and 5:52 for a mile. all within workouts. last week did 34:50 in a very controlled 5 mile run.
it's not a lofty goal, and certainly doesnt take a great deal of work. just something that keeps me from turning into a complete sack of crap.
