If a site has not yet been selected, why not? Athletes, coaches, and spectators need to start planning. August 2025 is only 10 months away.

Its a secret.
WHERE ARE!
I think it's debatable at least. Anyway, if you really wanna be a grammar/spelling policeman, why not point out that I misspelled the word "to"?
Eugene, first weekend of August.
I would be shocked going forward if they ever held national champs outside of Eugene again. It's clear they consider Hayward the de facto permanent site.
TrackTown as an LOC is the best - simple as that. They know what they’re doing and have the funding to get it done.
Anyone who wants to bid against them better have their sh*t together.
Mt Sac was supposed to have the Olympic Trials in 2020 but did not have the Stadium ready in time, The Stadium is now completed so expect MT. SAC Hilmer Lodge Stadium to work hard at getting NCAA, USATF/World and Olympic Trials Meets.
The stadium is the best track stadium in the country but the town sucks. Nike $$$ is powerful. Since the completion of the new stadium, Eugene has held both Olympic Trials, all four USATFs, and 3 of 4 NCAAs.

Who doesn't want to pay $300 a night for a motel 6?
Dates listed as July 31st - August 3rd Location TBD
I like Eugene ok but there are so many zombies walking the street. They are not threatening but just strange enough to make one feel uncomfortable.
You're kinda right. The stadium was complete but there was a legal issue that was pretty much bogus. Mt Sac getting sued over the new stadium. At that time USATF said they couldn't move forward then awarded it to Eugene and their new stadium.
It was a load of crap they chose Eugene and was a clearly a back door deal with Nike. Mt Sac was pretty pissed so not sure if they are willing to ever trust USATF again after essentially getting back stabbed.
WC, DL, NCAA, USATF, Grand Slam, ATL, Ohanian etc. always avoid L.A. County due to union mandates.
Plus the county laws don't allow free conventions, hotel rooms, 1st Class Airfare, and bribery, etc. due to Hollywood TV and recording and radio station payola violations 100 years ago.
It's unaffordable.
LA is no more "unaffordable" than Eugene. Not saying it isn't a pain but Eugene is argue is more expensive in terms of a major track event.
Eug is a pain in the ass and a crappy town. L.A. is too expensive for meet organizers.
Furnace Creek, CA
No way. Everyone hates Mt Sac for goos reason. Far from LAX and a stadium in a dump wind tunnel
Hayward Field doesn't have enough urinals and has been sued by Eugene to shut it down.
The San Gabriel Valley is very affordable. It's not like they're talking West LA.
