Whoa man. I’m very high on him as well but let’s slow down a bit. You still have Blanks, Wolfe, and Samuel. He will definitely have his time and expect big things from him.
I honestly believe he is more talented than Blanks and Wolfe. I forgot about Samuel, not sure about that. Wolfe and Blanks are insane but they were not running 23:20's and getting fifth at major XC invites as freshmen, then getting a major stress fracture and coming back to run 23:06 for 2nd the next year.

More talented than a guy that went undefeated last year in XC and was 9th in the Olympics?? Rocky Hansens best 5k is 13:44. Blanks ran 13:27 before college. we have plenty of time to see how good he is but you’re talking about two guys in Wolfe and Blanks that are already proven and have major wins on their resumes. He may be great but for now there’s currently no comparison.

No comparison except being less than 3 seconds behind Wolfe today, being 2 years younger?
Blanks ran 13:27 as a freshman in college in 2021. Hansen ran 13:44 last year very shortly after coming off his injury. You're just seeing what you want to see, not what actually happened.

Well Graham also did something after a stress fracture. He made the finals in the Olympics. I get it. He’s going to be good but I don’t think you realize how good guys like Wolfe, Blamks and Samuel are. I’m pulling for him but until he actually beats one of those guys I don’t think he’s currently more talented. He’s got plenty of time and I do think he will be really good.
Yeah, and he may not be the most talented guy in the NCAA. But I think he MIGHT be. I just think to this point his resume is better than wolfe or blanks at this point in their respective careers but of course they are better than him right now.
I think Wolfe will win NCAA's because Graham will have such a short turnaround from the Olympics, but fully expecting Graham to go nuclear in indoors.

If I had to pick one guy out of the sophomore class it would be Rocky. 100%. It is so tough for a kid to make the transition from high school to college and it was apparent he was able to adjust. Nico, did it. Blanks did it and Wolfe too. There are only a few that stand out early and Rocky did that in XC. He’s my pick to win the NCAA as a jr or sr.
23:06 for 2nd! He just has to stay healthy, he may very well be the most talented guy in the NCAA

Going to be? He made the finals in the Olympics! Better than good.

Funny you should say that but it is very common for there to be a tough adjustment period for male freshmen. It’s not always smooth. Look at many from the class of 23 and Hansen has performed as well as most any of them. You act like it is a given when it is clearly not.
