Joe performs consistently at a high level. I’m assuming Seth isn’t going for the double in tomorrow’s PP ‘Thon. Still a good performance from him. I believe he will attempt the NYC ‘Thon next.
There are only so many weekends for mountain running. And it's not like everybody is going to Pikes Peak.

Just looked up results. Either you're horrible with math or you can't read. They didn't "switch" at all. Gray ran 2:11 both times. Seth 209 then all the way to 214. Times were slow due to barometric pressure from what it sounds like from alot of the Top guys and gals

My understanding (maybe from someone on here) is that Gray wasn’t feeling great last year and was one of the many of the runners that Seth passed late in the race. I know nothing about high altitude mountain running, but it seems like times from year-to-year vary greatly. Seth’s ascent times were faster in both of his “full” wins than it was yesterday.
What amazes me is that Seth still has 172K of followers. How does he do this. Keeping this number constant, no other youtuber is able to do this.
My training partner got 10th overall at Pike's Peak (a while back). Training with guys like that really reminds me of how bad I am and how strong these kinds of guys are.
