I think they could easily by #1 in the country right now especially with the low stick in barrett but herriman has been racing well so hopefully we can see cba race sometime soon
Meets in NJ don't start until this week and surely CBA will not roll out theA team un Sept 28th the Bowdoin Classic (it is what they have done the last few years)
good point but this year has a different feel to it with their lineup - no need to slowly unveil the team, think it will be more like we will steamroll all. Would luv to hear how the coach is articulating goals to the boys, both team and individual. Will be a treat watching these guys, think big things are in the cards. Daresay they are injury proof, and yet..
They’ll definitely roll in NJ but I’d pump the breaks on national favorites. They haven’t really been close since the early-to-mid 2010s
i believe they have the fastest returning 1600 and 3200 times so if that doesn’t mean they are even in the conversation for national favorites then you are just stupid… also based off that article it seems as though they are far better then any team cba has ever seen and they are a very storied program. Not sure how many times they’ve qualified for nxn but they are there pretty much every year.

cba is a really good team and I am really excited to see what they can do this year / what team times they run a homdel and bowdoin etc. but some of the altitude teams this year are just made different, herriman/niwot are going to be pretty insane. Personally I like it how cba is small school ne teams that has it's own way of navigating the xc season but let's not get too biased about their 3200/1600 times. if they really want to insert themselves as better (in the early season), they should try racing niwot at desert twilight.

Without counting 2020 and 2021, the last time CBA didn’t make NXN was 2009. Just like Southlake Carroll
tough to predict on how they will stack up man for man with West coast teams - but if they score under 30 points at MOC that will never be matched, EVER. Are there more than 5 kids in the state better than their 5th man? I guess we will see but probably not..
Whether CBA becomes national champs or not …. depends on how they perform at NXN in particular. NXR NE is 2 weeks before NXN now, so more time in between to recover from racing and prepare. I wonder if this will help them.
Actually as far as a 5 man avg. this was 8th all-time not even all out.Thier 5th at 16;13.x had a rough day, he was a 9:10 4:15 soph. If you figure Barrett will be a15:10 guy..that's 30 secs..give their fifth 12 secs that's at least what a 9:10 developing kid should run. That would already hey them to 15:55 avg. This is their best team ever, I believe. Bowdoin on 9/28 will tell something.
Keep in mind that kids today are running much faster than they were 10+ years ago. So, while this might be the fastest CBA team ever, that doesn’t automatically make them the fastest in the country. It’s tough to gauge where they stand nationally without strong team competition in their region.
