So an article someone linked to regarding Marco Arop said it really can help in events between 30 seconds and 12 minutes. I have never bothered to learn about it nor am I sure there is a lot of reliable research. However when one looks at all these 800m superstars appearing, and then of course the wunderkind himself running 7:17 and looking as if he might have been faster if pressed, one cannot help but wonder if this could be one part of the explanation, although I am sure there are other parts, and maybe new PEDs, or old PEDs, or something, in addition to great talent and smart training. But there is something going on around here.
