M400m: All 3 medalists and Vernon Norwood who'll try to dip under 44 finally WHJ: Olyslagers and Mahuchikh M800: Bunch of finalists with Wanyonyi vs. Arop vs. Hoppel vs. Attaoui vs. Tual. Neil Gourley will be interesting to see if he can dip into the 1:43s. MLJ: Tentoglou leads a strong field 100H: Missing Masai Russell but has everyone else basically else including JCQ and Samba-Mayela M1500: Jakob, Hocker, Kessler, Nordas, Tim, Nillessen, Komen, Arese are the 1500m finalists in here. Other notable guys are Habz, Hoare, Lobalu, Mills and Nader. No Laros or Kerr MJAV: Top 2 from Olympics are not here, thumbs down W100: Underwhelming. None of the medalists are here, so you have Dina, Clayton, Neita and Ta Lou W3000: No medalists in the field. Top names are the Ethiopians Welteji, Freweyni Hailu, Medina Eisa, Gebreselama and Taye. Cranny in here as well. 110H: Podium from Paris is all here. Back on track. W800: No Keely or Duguma, but you do have Moraa, Maloney, Reekie, Georgia Bell and Nia Akins. W400H: No SML or Cockrell, but you have Femke, Shamier Little and Rushell Clayton M200: Tebogo headlines with Knighton, Kerley and Jereem Richards here as well Overall: A solid DL, the big highlights are more on the men's side with the 800, 1500, 110H and 400 as standouts. Women's 100H, HJ, 800 and Men's 200, LJ are pretty strong too. Femke and Welteji/Hailu could lift those eents.
Why do they keep allowing such large fields in the 1500? Even if two of the entries are pacemakers, that's still eighteen men on the starting line. It seems foolish given the number of falls this year

The agents seemingly have a lot of pull. Not sure Jochem Vermuelen or Luke McCann have really shown the recent form or have the past credentials to justify their inclusion. Ditto McSweyn or Mills if we're being honest with recent 1500m performances. Perhaps Stewy could be pacing, but I doubt it. If you cut those 4, the field size would be a pretty reasonable number.

Don't think Jakob got the top tier pacers needed to get a WR here. Probably another 3:27 low and maybe a PB if he really pushes it or someone else front runs at WR pace.
Norwood - Hall - Hudson-Smith should make for an incredible 400. Norwood night just shock everyone here. Winner might just run sub 43.5
Arop - Waynyoni - Hoppel - Tual in a paced affair seems like a WR is likely. Either Arop or Wanyonyi could break it. Hoppel maybe sets a new AR?
BIG 1500 field. Eighteen men seems dumb post London. Still an absolutely stacked field. Hocker/Jakob/Tim/Hobbs all gonna run fast. Mills - Mcsweyn - Reynold - Nordas - Habz - Komen looking for redemption. Lobalu chilling in there.
Holloway - Roberts - Parchment in 110 should be entertaining.
Solid womens 8 field with Bell, Akins, Moraa, etc
Femke Bol is pissed off and back in the 400.
Kerley - Knighton - Tebogo should make for a wild 200. Kerley might run REALLY fast if he can run a turn
I am OK with 14 racers let's say. In this field, the problem might be that guys in 3:31 shape will be delusional and go out hard. Realistically, this race goes best if Jakob, Tim, Hobbs, Komen and Hocker are close to single file and it goes through in 56/1:52. But you can be sure some of the group of guys who should just go straight to the back and hope to kick (Mills, McCann, Lobalu, Vermuelen, Stewy) will be feisty and possibly results in falls or near-falls.

Stewy might be the guy to take JI through 1200 in 2:46. they are good friends and Stewy has paced him before
