Brojos,
Need to interview him for the podcast. Ask him why he doesn’t coach more athletes. Will Sifan go after ‘Thon world record? Is he interested in coaching Parker Valby?

The Tim Rowberry from the Nike Oregon Project that pleaded the 5th with Hassan and slipped off into the night to continue their secret closed circle regime?
I have tried to learn more about who this guy is this week... Listened to a few interviews on YouTube and read a few things about him on the web... But he is hard to find info on. Someone on a separate thread here made the claim that Alberto was still coaching Sifan, but through Tim... Anybody have more info on this?
Tim isn't a huge me guy, promotes Sifan as she's the one doing the work. I believe he got connected with NOP through his proximity to Park City working with Utah Valley. After Salazar left, Sifan and Yomif Kejelcha went with him, with Yomif eventually leaving. Sometimes its best for a coach to be able to focus on a very small group of athletes, or in this case one.
That seemed like the most likely scenario. He did mention in one of his interviews that he is wants to grow his coaching into a sponsored team, but he also mentioned how much he gets to travel the world following Sifan and her training to all sorts of interesting remote places, which sounds like a sweet gig. Him and Sifan obviously have something that works so good for them!
That’s laughable. TR has nothing to do with Salazar. He saved the workouts that AS was giving kejelcha and Hassan while Tim was acting as a pacer, and used those workouts as a guide with Hassan after NOP closed its doors. I don’t understand why people make these random things up. Just to cause trouble?
Make no mistake, Tim is a super solid guy- extremely kind and affable. This rumor should be put to rest.
This is the correct answer.
I ran with him in College - He is a total stud! Though sleeping at his sisters house was scary as heck (This is a word that means hell in Utah) - it was full of dolls with bleeding eyes.
Last time time I saw him on camera though was when he was singing on David Letterman? Maybe it was Leno. Tim has really dedicated his life to running and coaching - He would be awesome to have on a podcast.

Rowberrys great, I’m privileged to know him and i’ve gotta say he’s one of the smartest coaches i’ve interacted with. I apply a lot of his training/coaching philosophy into my own.
The first day I met him he diagnosed and gave me a solution to a chronic injury i’d had cropping up over and over again for years, i’d seen doctors, trainers and sports physios that gave me solutions that didn’t work.
I have a handful of old teammates/friends that have worked under him and for what it’s worth they are clean to my knowledge.

If you are unsure of whether to use “him”’or “he” in this situation try taking out the other subject (Sifan) and try the sentence with the singular pronoun only. For example it doesn’t sound correct to say “Him obviously has something that works…”. It’s more natural to say “He obviously has something that works…”
If it works in the singular it also works with multiple subjects.
Sifan Hassan has had massive success under three different coaches.
Pretty sure it has nothing to do with the coach.
He also coaches Nikaayi but she hasn’t done anything for years. Hassan is a freak generational talent. He seem like a great guy but not sure if her success is because of his genius coaching.

Nakaayi started working with him last year if I remember correctly. This year has been her fastest ever with PRs in the 800 and 1500.
