Totally agree. Way more fun than just watching a time trial course. Made the race much more interesting, watching runners with different strengths yo-yo on the uphills/downhills/flats.

Loved the Paris course and incredibly jealous of those who got to run it. It was absolutely gorgeous to watch.

If LA28 has any balls, they'll run it through Mulholland drive and finish in Santa Monica near the water. Seems like like a good amount of road to work with here (~800 feet of climbing over the first few miles) so pick and choose your start/end points to get the full 26.2:
