Amazing race. I thought it was a bit much that she put on an actual crown after the race, though. There’s trying to be a showman (a la Lyles), which I can appreciate, but this one missed the mark in my opinion for being over the top.
The post-race interview she talks about how her sister-in-law was talking about giving it to her post-race and she thought it was a joke. She seemed like she didn’t want to wear it but her fam/support group kept putting it on haha
The crown was handed to her by a friend in the stands. She kept taking it off after people were putting it on her but finally left it on. It was obvious she wasn’t thrilled about it at first. Leave her alone. It was HER moment
No, you're wrong, it is indeed "a crown," not "the." The often-misquoted line is spoken by King Henry in the opening monologue of Act III, scene I in King Henry IV Part 2.

Curious: what did you all think about her crown?
If you've ever paid attention to this woman ever, you would know that she's not that girl.
It CLEARLY was not her idea to wear a crown.
She is totally the opposite of that, very low key, modest, humble. To a fault, maybe. She obviously was just obliging her family, and hey, she has every right to wear it.
