The Paris final was simply insane. First time in history with 3 runners sub-3:28. Kerr (3:27.79) and Nuguse (3:27.80) PBed with well over a second, and Hocker PBed with almost 3 full seconds (2.94s, 3:27.65)
Do you think one or more of them ran their lifetime PB in this race? I wouldn't be surprised if they run faster in the future, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they don't. Hocker is the youngest, and had the craziest finish, so maybe he has the best chances among the three of improving?
I have a hard time believing we'll see a championships final in the near future that goes out in such a crazy pace. It is also worth mentioning that Hocker and Kerr have never run in Monaco, and I don't know if they will in the future. Nuguse has run in Monaco once (this year, with a 3:29.13)
