Nobody is touching him tomorrow, it’s gold. Hall will close on him a touch but will not have enough room. Hudson-Smith by a few tenths

should be a great race, US sprinter (Hall) looked very good semis.
Kirani to get gold 12 years after his last.

would be a great feat, but he looked like he ran a lot harder in semis imo.
I was pretty confident until yesterday. Guys dropping 43s in the semis, Kirani James finding his time machine, it makes me nervous. And MHS himself looked awful in the home straight. He blasted the opening 200 cruised to 300 but then his form went just when he should be relaxing and maintaining. I hope he can do it, but I don't think it will be easy at all. Hall looks locked in and I'm not ruling out Norman either
The BBC didn't even show the semi-finals. I hope they are going to show the 800m heats, but I doubt it.
Nah yall sleeping on Norman. He may've ran slower than anticipated but that's only because he went out WAY slower than normal, and even still he recovered with a 44.26. That 44.10 from Round 1 was effortless. He'll be running 43.6, minimum

I’m not confident that Norman has found the correct pace for the first 200 this season that would allow him to run 43.5. I can see him going out too hard and blowing up in the home straight.
MHS’ pacing is much better in fast races, based on his season as a whole. Quincy Hall also looks good and deals with pressure well. One of those two takes gold for me.
I don't think so
World record for Matt
100 years since Chariots of Fire and we sure love an omen in GB
It's gonna be a good race and I don't think anyone's gonna walk away with it. I think these guys are also trying to conceal how tired they are at the finish.
MHS went too deep yesterday. He developed a weird hitch in his stride and I thought he was gonna pull a hammy at the top of the 2nd curve. I don't think he was as effortless as people are saying.
Quincy Hall looked good too but that sub 44 was unnecessary. He was clearly feeling it down the homestretch—cadence dropped, went to the arms, etc.
Norman got out slow in the semi but absolutely impressed in the rounds, looked truly relaxed with 44.1. I like that he expended so little energy in the semis.
Kirani was digging deep to not lose the semi and I think that was a waste of a good effort.
Any of these 4 guys can win it. I think many are sleeping on Norman though. Everyone saw the fast times in the 100 semis and thought we'd be seeing 9.7 lows in the final. Could be a similar situation here.
Update: he had enough room.

Dude just doesn’t have the head to match the legs, unfortunately.
