Called it after the semi. She has improved but she’s still very mentally weak. She is every bit in 10.6 shape but goes out there and freezes and runs 10.87.
The 200 at the trials foreshadowed this. She is physically capable but mentally inconsistent. Probably more worried about her nails and how her makeup would look in the rain.
Alfred is a killer and after the semi I very much thought this would happen.
I don't know that Sha'Carri choked as much as Julien is just faster.
I am very happy for Melissa Jefferson. Way to go !

Alfred is absolutely not more talented or capable and it’s not even close. But the difference is between the ears.

Sha’Carri choked, almost as if she was high on marijuana and sluggish at the gun.
Goes home devastated. Very little coming from the 200m for her as well.
How does the rain impact the start off the line?
She was easily the class of the field apart from Alfred. Turns out Alfred is a killer. She won it. Richardson didn’t choke, just got beat.

She ran 10.87 when she’s in 10.6 shape. Rain let up. Almost no wind. Wet track doesn’t affect that much. It was a choke. You can see it right out of the blocks. She froze. Literally.
With better conditions, Richardson takes it.
Should have doped more. Her doping coach needs to go
Alfred won it at the start and was in final gear by 50-60m.
