Was it a brooding picture in a suit or bathrobe or something with a gold chain? Saying something like “working in the shadows, resisting ice cream sundaes”?
Josh Kerr was always known for being on the hefty side. ‘Thin’ by normal standards, but not by elite runner standards. The fact that he’s trimmed down to ‘elite runner thin’ is pretty good, and bodes well. As long as it’s short term I’d say - his body type doesn’t seem to be naturally thin, so he probably should only go there for big Championships like the Olympics. Back up for base training etc so he doesn’t get injured.
He really knows how to peak, I've never seen him so thin.
Gold is already his.
He is listed at 6'2", what do you think his weight is? Jacob is also listed at 6'2". I was surprised they were both this tall. I would have guessed 5'11". 6'2" seems on the tall side, especially for a 5K runner in Jingy. El G was 5'9". Coe was 5'9". Morceli was 5'9". Steve Cram 6'1".
These new guys are tall! 5'9" seems like the sweet spot.

Lots of great 6’1”/6’2” milers over the years. Roger Bannister and Jim Ryun spring to mind. Steve Scott and Asbel Kiprop. Ivo Van Damme was 6’3”. If you open it up to 6’0” guys too (Walker, Ovett, on and on) I think it becomes apparent that 5’9” is not a “sweet spot” for 1500 running. If there are marginally more 5’9ish guys it’s probably because that’s basically the universal average male height.
