I went to high school with Flavor Flav. He was a six minute miler.
Just kidding, he did not run track. But he did go to Freeport (NY) HS with me in the 70s.
Side note, Freeport also had Lou Reed in the late 50s. He was also a 6 minute miler.

Flavor also used his own money to support the women's water polo team yo ensure they could focus on competing at the Olympics. I think he deserves a big thank you for making sure the athletes that were eligible to compete got their chance. He's not responsible for their financial situation and stepped up in a very positive way. Thank you Flava Flav.
