No problem with it as long as they don't schedule the 400m finals so late in the timetable. The 4x400 heats is on the same day as the w400 finals in Paris.

Re: “starting in 2025” and “rule”, I don’t see any indication from the World Athletics press release that the schedule change has any long-term implications beyond the 2025 world championships. As far as I can tell, the change is only for the 2025 world championships. There’s no mention of there being a new rule that all world championships must henceforth end with the 4x100.

No WC/Olympics maintains anything close to the same schedule so who cares at all? It is an unscored meet too, even less important to end with the 4x400.

Tradition is for official scored team meets to end with 4x400, I support that.

I guess that makes sense...
