That's crazy. On one of the stories it says the grandmother/killer had terminal cancer. Clearly she decided if she was gonna go, she was going to make sure her son got full custody. It's sad and wrong that she's gonna get her wish now....

Violence has to do with density of population. Stats say sharks barely kill people therefore they aren’t violent, but you put 1 shark in a full swimming pool and the density of population changes

If he didn't have access to a gun, he might have tried to run up and stab him. There have been plenty of high-profile politicians and celebrities who have been stabbed with knives in attempted assassinations in recent years.
Guns don't make violent crime more likely. They actually do the opposite of that, and reduce violent crime. Guns are an "equalizer" for women and the elderly, for instance, because they allow those groups to better defend themselves from attacks from criminals who are younger and stronger.
This is proven by statistics. Countries such as the United Kingdom which have virtually banned all guns have higher violent crime rates than the United States in many areas (especially London), with knife attacks and rapes and burglaries and other crimes off the charts.
The areas of the United States with the highest violent crime are places like Chicago, Baltimore, St Louis, and New Orleans that are totally run by far Left Democrats and which have passed all sorts of laws banning guns. But those laws only result in disarming the decent, law-abiding portion of the population. Because only the decent, law-abiding people obey the laws. The criminals in Chicago, Baltimore, and St Louis will continue to be armed with guns regardless of the laws...but now will have a big advantage over the law-abiding people in those cities who are now disarmed.

OK, lets look at crime statistics for the most densely populated city in the U.S. - Guttenberg, N.J.
This site shows a murder rate of 0 - in a place with 62,000 people per square mile.

Here are your typical top 5 in terms of homicide rates: Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, New Mexico, and Missouri. Do you see a trend? To finish off the top 10 (things do change from year to year, which is why I say typical) we have: South Carolina, Arkansas, Tennessee, Illinois (the only "deep blue" state in the bunch), and Maryland (by the way, Indiana is top 15). And you are 100% correct, guns are just tools. They are tools that are designed to kill animals (including people). You and those like you are hopelessly naive. Guns make killing really easy.
