Seasons come and go. It's not quantity. It's quality. Jamaica stands a good chance to win the men's marquee event. So there's that.

When WADA developed a test for SARMS there went Jamaican dominance in this event on the men's side.
Jamaican drug testing was a joke, I can't say what it is now but it's probably only marginally better.
I don’t understand this, how is it possible? They are the super power of track and they have only two men who make the qualifying standards? Is there some sort of flaw in their approach? Are men focusing on the 100 and ignoring the conditioning needed for a fast 200??
No 4x400 either for the men.

They have only been a superpower since the 2008 drug era began. Before that Jamaica has had great sprinters hear and there but never been a powerhouse. Since Glen Mills athletes stopped doping for some reason Jamaican men have been having to run on their natural talent and they have gone back to being what they were prior to 2008.
Except for Kishane of course who has become Stephen Francis’s first doped male sprinter who is now back out front with massive chemical enhancement.
Without doping Jamaica would have one A tier sprinter in Seville and one B tier guy in Blake and a few C their guys. That’s normal for them.
