He set another PR of 44.15 at Euros in June.

43.72 at the Olympics in August would be quite the progression for a 27-year-old.

Generally I don't care who wins. But I'd like to see Kessler win a medal. And Fisher, Mantz or Young. Aussie Liam Adams get a top 10 in the Marathon. Marwa Bouzayani in the women's steeple. Kejelcha as well. Mahuchikh in the high jump.

Some of them picks are alright but the 100m winner no way.

Putting the exact times down to the 100th second for all of these kills any slim chance he had of getting this 100% correct.

I almost agree, but Gardiner is still undefeated in the past six or seven decades (except when he's pulled up). I'll be rooting for Hall.

- Aregawi in the 10k? Where have you been? He never has a kick in the championships. His best kicks have come when the past is already blazing fast and everyone is tired. Won't happen here.

All other picks seem credible enough though.

- Tebogo hasn't look fantastic at 100m, but it's more of a toss up. Thompson, Lyles, Kerley, all have shots.

- Doom would need another jump, but Norman hasn't been on his A+ game, and Quincy looked great a Monaco, but we will see how he is with rounds. 400m runners tend to fluctuate a bit.

Tebogo looked pretty good in his loss to Kishane at 100m. He didn't look like he was trying any more than Thompson was. When he won the Monaco 200, he looked like the most relaxed runner in the entire world.

I do think that the 200 is more likely for Tebogo. Noah's got too much going on.

Not bad except the marathon is a joke and despite my Noah Lyles prediction I don't see Tebogo winning the 100m unless he has the powers of McKenzie Long inspiring him.
