I know there’s been some discussions about transfers in other threads, but I thought I’d make a thread for this.
List of transfers so far:
Brenna Jorde - IMG Academy FL to Mountain Vista CO
Sophia Grant - Newbury Park CA to Ventura CA
Cooper Tripp - Skyridge UT to Herriman UT
Jackson Spencer - Syracuse UT to Herriman UT
Dallin Harrington - San Clemente CA to American Fork UT
This transfer stuff is cringe. This is high school, not the collegiate level. And these kids' lives should not revolve around their sport; academics, family, and social life need to be heavily considered.
I agree it's cringe, but I would also like to know who transferred where so please report any transfers here

Vanessa Vezga 2:14/5:01 - Southlake Carroll, TX to Woodlands, TX
JSerra CA got a 1:55 / 4:13 (relay split) / 9:25 transfer
ML King CA received 3 transfer boys (one of them will be competing on the girls team)
I heard that Oaks Christian CA boys team received one junior transfer? They were going to be 4-deep originally, but if that junior transfer is at the same level as those 4, they will easily podium in D4 at CIF.

All these Transfers arelikely because the Parents got a better job in a different location.
Milesplit reports Griffen Saacke 9:05 from Katy, TX to Bridgeland, TX. This is huge as Bridgeland a young team already with the Texas #1 3200 of Benjamin Montgomery 8:51. This may put them in contention for the 6A win vs. Southlake and Austin Vandegrift.

This would be John Stanczak - 4:26 mile / 9:51 3200 / 16:28 5k at NXR.
This will make Coronado stronger, but it will be still hard to take down Herriman, Niwot, American Fork, and Mountain View.
But they will be able to win the 4A state meet (if he is eligible for varsiry) since Niwot is not in 4A anymore.
He is a junior so it will make Coronado’s 2025 team stronger too

Looks like the TX 6A state title will be a 3-team race (between Southlake Carroll, Austin Vandegrift, and Bridgeland). Any of them could win it.
And Montgomery will be the ONLY senior on Bridgeland so in 2025 they are looking to be even better

Probably his parents moved due to a job change or something.
San Clemente won’t be as good as they used to be anyways. They lost a HUGE senior class, and the track season didn’t show that they will be able to reload

Wil and Ruby Ihmels are moving away from Idaho. The rumor is North Dakota or Minnesota. Would certainly shake up either state. Wil has 4:22 and 9:12 bests, while Ruby has 4:55 and 10:28 bests.
