The difference is in the UK the results will be accepted with grace for the most part. Here, if the childish Trumpanzees don't get what they want, they'll have a meltdown and storm the capitol and smear right wing feces everywhere again. We should equip the capitol with sufficient toilet paper and vegetables (right wingers hate salads and vegetables) as a deterrent.

The noise skews to the right in this country. That’s all. American conservatives are loudmouths. So it seems like there’s more of them than there really are.
Also many of those loudmouths have wives that quietly vote the other way.
The left is much more quiet than the right. For the most part we just vote. It’s not going to be close.

No, the Conservatives have lost because they stopped being conservative (aside from the usual maintaining of their Norman class privileges). The real story is that a truly right-wing populist party (Reform) has made a massive breakthrough and taken almost half the Conservative vote. Either the Conservatives will have to turn back to the right or they will never get into power again, or even be replaced by Reform as the right-wing opposition party.

I think it’s pretty easy to understand. The Labour Party is middle left. The middle left is going to win big. The general public has an appetite for normalcy. People are turning away from extremism. It’s a good thing.
