They (SA) now have a government of national unity, including the Democratic Alliance who most whites vote for. It doesn't include the Economic Freedom Front (EFF) who is bin favour of nationalisation and land reposssion, but even they do not call for genocide on whites. In the recent elections, not one candidate had a platform of 'genocide of whites. Random uneducated people shouting "kill the boer" (afrikaner/farmer), is not 'openly pushing for genocide'. Musk knows this so is 'openly lying'. Maybe because SA doesn't stand for the politics he does, does not support Israel and so forth.

How safe is it in SA? How long is a piece of string? You can walk the dog in one suburb of Cape Town for 5km after dusk, greeting and chatting to residents and domestic workers, but you cannot enter another only 10km away in broad day light. Well you can enter but won't come out alive. Ditto stumbling a km back to the hotel in Rosebank in Johannesburg after a night out, with your partner, something you can't just do randomly anywhere.
Yes, the transition has been slow, the have's still have and the have nots have less...sounds like the USA maybe.

What is even more interesting, is that the South African government and Elon actually AGREE on many things, such as being against the ‘western’ globalist influence over all of the world. The South African government is fervently opposed to it, and so is Elon. That is kind of a big deal.

Musk only dislikes global influence for his own benefit, but for the most, he is actually part of it via X, Tesla , Space X etc. You don't become one of the richest in world while not benefiting and agreeing with western global influence.

Julius Malema is not a random uneducated person. He is the leader of the 4th largest (unil recently 3rd largest) political pary in South Africa. He has more than a million people voting for his party and who would appear to agree with his racist vitreol. I would say he has great influence in SA.
You wrote a very accurate observation, although not many at LRC (almost certainly including BroJos) are capable of understanding it in the context of recent world events. Very sadly, your comment applies to more than nation.
