Does this confirm that he'll be getting the 1500m discretionary spot due to being world champ?
Is he seriously considering the 800m/1500m double?

Yes he has been confirmed. I don’t think he is considering the double in serious fashion. It is doable though with the 800 starting the day after the 1500.

It's do-able in terms of the timetable but it's unlikely he would qualify as his PB is only good enough for #7 on the current UK rankings.

True but he has historically underachieved at the 800. Perhaps he will put a good one together here.
