I believe they saw this statement and then subsequently saw her entry into the meet. And someone with insider knowledge whom others believe to be a source of close to truth claims her fitness is coming back quicker than expected. Unless Flynn said something more recently?

You are not as smart as you are trying to be. Flynn never said those words. RW reported the following.
"Tuohy is doubtful for the Olympic Trials after a hamstring injury derailed her winter and spring training. Her agent, Ray Flynn, confirmed to Runner’s World on May 24 that although she’s back to training now, she is unlikely to be ready in time for the Trials."
However subsequently she declared for the Trials and to this point has not scratched.

Why bring Ramsden into this thread? She is a wonderful person and a great competitor. She doesn't disappear to avoid testing.

Well "tuohy is a quitter" seem to be born after the DNS in the 5000m, which is exactly what Ramsden did this year. Now I am not saying either is a quitter, but I do like people treated in a consistent manner.
