And if they do qualify and are so injured that they cannot run, they just fake it until they arrive in Budapest so that they get to enjoy a vacation on USATF's $$ without risking an alternate taking their place (cough, Quigley, cough)

You're not an Olympian, for bonus purposes, until you start the race. Tough to fault anyone for toeing the line if not 100%
