Plus 7 with Caitlin in the game. Only 3 turnovers. They definitely did better than they’d done against top teams. Glad there’s so much passion for saving women’s sports so you can talk about how nobody cares.
Caitlin Clark is acclimating well to the WNBA, but she is still chasing her first win after the Indiana Fever dropped to 0-5 following Wednesday's 85-83 loss…
They foul too much, give up too many easy points in the lane, and have bad offensive schemes and set plays.
Once they play a bit more together defensive switches and positioning should be easier. More time will also help offensive pick and rolls and double teams.
at some point they should consider the coach’s role and what she’s doing, but I don’t think they are there quite yet given the short time they’ve had to work with Clark and practice.
you also can’t discount the intensity other teams are bringing to their games with the fever. they want to show their stuff to all then newbies tuning in and are brining their best.
They are somehow worse than last year. They won 32.5% of their games last year. If they win 3 of their next 5 games they'll still be behind pace of last year.

The first four games were against two of the top three teams in the league.
But they have the best basketball player ever and sell out every arena! How is this possible?
So, first, as you obviously don’t follow basketball, they don’t reward any sort of ‘bonus’ points for selling out games.
Second, even if she was considered the best college basketball player ever, basketball stars rarely peak at 22. They continue developing into their late 20s or early 30s even. Caitlin has had a promising start to her career so far, but still has a way to go before she reaches her peak.
Finally, I watched a bit of the NCAA tournament and I don’t think I ever heard her called ‘the best ever.’ People called her one of the best ever, or the best scorer in NCAA history, or other labels clearly distinct from best ever, but why don’t you just go scream at some trans people about how they are ruining the women’s sports you love so much!

There are only 11 other teams. So a lot of their games will be against one of the top teams from last year. And they just played the Storm and lost, the Storm had an even worse record than Fever last year.

But storm reconfigured with several wnba stars, not rookies.
Fever bad, but get better every game. Clark on track to finish averaging 20 pts, 5 rebounds 5 assists and win rookie of the year.
Despite 0-5 and all the potshots at her, she has one of the best ever 5 game starts.
Fever went 13-27 last year, let's see if they can beat that.
