What day will Athing Mu pull out of Pre?

It doesn't matter as long as she makes the Olympic team.
This post was removed.
I hope she does the pull out and re enter card again before fully withdrawing from the race.
Nike athletes are pretty much mandated to race Pre. This, the trials, and olympics are the only sure meets you can count on seeing her out there.

Athing Mu pulled out on both Wednesday and Friday last week. So I'm going to say she pulls out on Thursday this time just to be different.
The other question is who will take Mu's place when she pulls out? A year ago I would have said Ajee Wilson, but she didn't look good at the LA Grand Prix.

And New Balance athletes are mandated to run the New Balance meets but Sydney has managed to get out of those a few times by claiming that she got injured on the plane flight on the way to the meet.
So you never know.
If Kersee wants her out of the meet, he will find a way!

We don't know what the problem was that caused Athing Mu to drop out of the LA Grand Prix. But whatever it was, it doesn't seem like she is ready to run an 800 against runners like Keely Hodgkinson and Mary Moraa.
I don't think that either Mu or Kresee want her to lose to those two runners. So I think it's more likely than not that she doesn't run the 800 at Pre.
I'll go Friday morning

Yeah I agree with this. If they mandated her to race last season in the middle of September almost 3 weeks after she looked miserable at worlds, then I feel like it would really need a bad injury to get her out of it.
I would also imagine that some of her 800k salary is reliant on fulfilling some obligations and that her deal is definitely in the spotlight given the alarming lack/even baseline acceptable ROI.
She will be there - even if she looks miserable. As always.
Looks like another Wednesday
I can't for the life of me understand why she's sticking with Kersey. She went from one of the most dominant track athletes of all time to someone who's largely been unable to compete physically or mentally. Maybe it was a long-time coming, but mix it up and do something different.

She's also sticking with Wednesday, must be her admin day.
She will run the mile to 1200m and drop out, earning rojos eternal respect and admiration.

Then she will proceed to at least challenge for GOLD in the olympics. Can't really say that about any other us 800m runners. Even though you guys just want to pile on her for having an injury and seldomly racing she does have results that no one else can claim to have.
Barely races and qualified for a team in a new event, 800m bronze, American record 1:54. The real irony is you guys won't ridicule other runners for not performing as well as her when they race so much more and should be much more sharper.
If Mu keeps going on this trajectory of never racing and pulling out with the littlest of excuses, she is going to bring home no more than a bronze in this Olympics. She is way more talented than Hodgkinson or Morra, but they are going to beat her because they are tougher and race more.

He's based in L.A. She wants to be in L.A. for fashion/modeling.

I don't see Kersee having much to do with the obvious conclusion that she just doesn't like racing on the big stage or maybe running as a whole. She's either unmotivated to do something she just happens to be great at or she has a significant anxiety surrounding performance. I judge her for neither, but I'd love her to open up about it.
She's so talented, she can put in minimal effort, race never, and show up with a bad attitude and still dominate.
Why pull out? Imagine how fast their kids would be.
